EVENING PROGRAM AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SUMMER CAMPS
At White Tiger we teach traditional Tae Kwon Do, Hapkido, and Tai Chi. Instructor, GrandMaster Jimmy, an 8th Dan Black Belt is an experienced professional with more than 20 years of teaching experience and 40+ years of training. You will learn ancient time tested and proven effective methods of self preservation and defense. Mr. Jimmy focuses on teaching all students, no matter what program they are enrolled in, a vast arsenal of strikes, blocks, kicks, joint manipulations and other effective methods of self protection. Students ages 4 years old and up can learn and train and benefit from the time tested 2,000+ year old martial arts styles! Most importantly, students build confidence in themselves - enabling them to become stronger and better prepared for life's unexpected hurdles!

TAE KWON DO
Tae Kwon Do is an ancient system of martial art that focuses on the use of strikes, kicks and blocks, and is known for its forms or katas. At White Tiger you will be taught traditional Tae Kwon Do (ITF system) by Mr. Jimmy, who is an 8th Dan GrandMaster who has been instructing for more than 20 years and a practitioner of the art for more than 40 years.
Tae Kwon Do training increases focus, flexibility, strength, cardio fitness and one's overall physical and mental health.
Belt Levels: White, Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Brown, Black
In our Tae Kwon Do program all students will also spar regularly beginning at the second belt level, as it is an integral component of learning self defense, and great for cardio fitness. It is well supervised and students enjoy the friendly competitive nature of the sport!
Also taught in our Tae Kwon Do program are the traditional martial weapons: Nunchukas, Sais, Kali Sticks/Escrima. At Black Belt level students will also begin training in Bo Staff, Boken (wooden Katana) and Kamas.
At White Tiger we have over 200 students training in Tae Kwon Do. Each belt level has its own class and families can train together as we divide classes by belt rank, not by age.
A CLOSE QUARTERS DEFENSE MARTIAL ART UTILIZING GRAPPLING, JOINT MANIPULATIONS, THROWS, LOCKS, AND PRESSURE POINTS TO DEFEND FROM, CONTROL AND RESTRAIN YOUR ATTACKER.
Hapkido is a system utilized to defend and restrain attackers. Many law enforcement personnel utilize this system and train at White Tiger.
The Ancient Chinese Art of Exercise and Well Being
Tai Chi is a system of martial arts developed from Kung Fu aimed at maintaining the mind, spirit, and body. It's ancient methods are time tested and are well respected by medical professionals as a very effective method of improving overall health in one's mind and body.
Tai Chi movements are graceful and gentle and circular, and are accurately described as meditation in motion.
